Training Plans
In addition to your training we can provide detailed training plans. You will receive a
long term plan which will give an overview of your whole training period up to the
start of your event and throughout your training season. You will receive weekly
plans with each session written in detail for you to carry out. These will be reviewed
on a weekly basis making sure you are meeting your aims.
Training plan prices vary and are based on the number of weeks you require one for.
Please discuss this at your initial meeting.
Technique
The event technique work will take place primarily at Blackbridge Jubilee athletics
track off Podsmead Road in Gloucester. The track is a great venue where we have
access to all required equipment and areas.
Some technique work will also take place in our outdoor training area dependant on
what we’re working on.
Event technique is very important as it doesn’t matter how strong or fit you are if you
can’t do the event technically well you’ll never perform to your full potential. Bad
technique can also be a cause of injuries and pain.
Good technique means you’re efficient, won’t waste energy and use the forces you
create correctly which improves your performance.
